01

COMPREHENSIVE TOUR

Our favorite corner of the country, shown the way we first fell in love with it. Follow the Sorek Stream through a water crossing, past fields, groves and orchards, then climb to the Tzora Lookout, where the whole center of the country spreads out below you. An easygoing ride with plenty of time to stop and soak it in.

PREMIUM TOUR

The long way through the land we love. Cross the Sorek Stream and climb to the Tzora Lookout, stop for drinks and the season's extras, and add a visit to a local winery if you like, where the grapes from these hills become wine. The winery stop costs nothing extra; if you'd like longer there, extra time can be added for a fee — a representative will give you the details. Then it's on to the Sculpture Trail in the Eshtaol Forest and a final climb to the Kfar Uriya Lookout.

A FAMILY
BUSINESS.

// OUR STORY

Shachar Cohen was born on Moshav Beit Elazari, straight into the outdoors. He worked the fields as a young man, has been around engines since he was a kid, and went on to win off-road riding competitions.

He served in the Air Force, holds a degree in teaching and teaches at vocational colleges. He volunteers with Nitzotzot in schools and high schools, and during the Swords of Iron war he helped deliver food out to the field.

Married and a father of five, he has a deep bond with Judaism, with this land and with the hills we ride through. That love of the land goes into every tour.

AGES — ANY AGE AS A PASSENGER WITH A PARENT, 17+ TO DRIVE

// 04 — BOOK

LET'S RIDE.

// COMMON QUESTIONS
Do I need a driver's license?

Yes, to drive any of our vehicles. Our fleet is RZRs with four or six seats, and you need a valid driver's license to drive one. Bring it with you on the day — a photo of it is fine. We don't have small single-seat quads, so there's no license-free option. Foreign and international licenses are fine, so visitors can drive too. Anyone without a license is welcome to ride as a passenger — the biggest ones take six.

Is there a minimum age?

No. Kids of any age can ride as passengers with a parent, following the same safety rules as in a car. For small children, bring your own car safety seat. To drive, you need a full, valid driver's license — none of our vehicles can be driven by kids.

What's included in the price?

Everything: the vehicle, gas, helmets, safety gear, a safety briefing and a guide who leads the way. Drinks at the stops along the route are included too — cold ones, and hot ones in winter. The Premium tour comes with extras that change with the season. Prices are per vehicle, so everyone in a vehicle shares one price.

What should I wear?

In summer, anything comfortable works, with shoes or sandals. It gets dusty, so we hand out goggles. In winter, wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

What if it rains?

In light rain or drizzle we still ride. In heavy rain we can't go out, and we'll move your tour to another date.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel up to a week before your ride for a full refund. Cancel within the last week and you'll be charged 50% of the booking. Cancel within 24 hours and you'll be charged the full price.

Where do we meet?

At Har Tuv Park in Beit Shemesh, 25 minutes from Jerusalem. Park outside on the main road and walk in along the path that leads to us. Open in Waze.

When should we arrive?

At the time we set, please. A short safety briefing comes first, so the ride itself sets off about 15 minutes later. The briefing is on top of your ride time, not part of it. Tours run back to back, so if you're more than 10 minutes late it comes off your ride, and after 20 minutes we have to leave without you and charge the full price.

Will there be other people on the tour?

Possibly. We may add other groups in their own vehicles. You drive your own vehicle, and the guide leads from a separate one out front. Safety comes first: we drive carefully and within the legal speed.

Do you guide in English?

Yes. Just mention it when you book and we'll pair you with an English-speaking guide.
